The Duke

Ben Gould (birthdate unknown), better known by his stage name The Duke, is an now inactive member of the Espionage Enterprises group. His nickname originated from "The Duke Boys" which was a moniker given to him and Bingham, being that they were the only members residing deep in Mesquite, Texas (Hazzard County).

Not much is known about The Duke before the year 1990. It was in June of this year that the Duke Boys first met.

Ages 10 - 15

• In elementary school, people would tease The Duke simply by saying the product name, "Ben-Gay". The Duke had a severe disdain for this childish teasing, even into his teenage years.

• The Duke was an excellent soccer player.

• The Duke's father was a heavy influence musically on The Duke Boys, playing them such albums as "Led Zeppelin IV, Queen II, and Zappa"

• The Duke once had a sick dog. For this reason and this reason alone, no one was allowed in his house for months. Bingham believed that his father was secretly a mad scientist, toiling away on some great invention.

• For a period of 5 years, The Duke was not seen without a flannel shirt on.

• The Duke was prone to allergies and colds, having a red and runny nose from the age of 10 - 15. He blew his nose an estimated 45,625 times in those years.

• The Duke boys played the Trombone together in 7th Grade.

Ages 15 - 18

• In high school, The Duke was a writer for the Poteet Pirate high school paper. Journalism was his 1st love.

• For most of the duration of high school, The Duke dated a black hole, not much is known about this period.

• After high school, The Duke attended The University of Missouri at Columbia to pursue Journalism. Like many of us, he did not complete his education there for reasons unknown. It was there that The Duke met Evan.

• While at school, The Duke tore his knee in a game of soccer by placing his femur alongside his tibia and fibula, as opposed to on top of one another as they should be. Although healed, he can not engage in extreme acts of excercise that use his knees (e.g. running, soccer)

• After returning to Mesquite from college, The Duke worked at UPS on the Air Dock.

Ages 19 - 22

• In 1999 The Duke began his career at Network Associates, formerly McAfee, futurely McAfee.

• In 1999 The Duke resided with Bingham, Case K, and Kayla.

• In January of 2000 The Duke moved to Pecan Ridge.

• 2000 Was considered the year of the Presidente for The Duke. He consumed 4,223 of them between March and October. This was easily achieved because, although he denies it, he spent every night at Chili's.

Ages 23 - Present

• After the age of 23-24, The Duke became reclusive to the group. He now lives in North Dallas, and his appearances at get-togethers slowly waned.

• Individually, people have seen the resurgence of Ben, but it does not seem to last long. The writer of this article cannot remember the last time he saw the Duke in person.

• The Duke, now 28, completely approves of this article.
